Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)

The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) is a 4-year reimbursement option for eligible local educational agencies (LEAs) and schools participating in both the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP) that wish to offer free school meals to all children in high poverty schools without collecting household applications.

Current schools on CEP (Community Eligibility Provision) program 2018-2019:

Columbus Elementary, Badger Elementary, Horizons Elementary, Jefferson Elementary, Lincoln Elementary. The list may also include McKinley Elementary, Johnston Elementary, and Wilson Middle School.

Benefits of CEP for our families

  • Lunches and breakfast are served free to all students in participating schools
  • Potential for increased meal participation, especially breakfast

We encourage ALL of our families to fill out our Free and Reduced application, as this may lead to additional funding for our schools.
